If you selected Reading as your insurance choice, we are able to guarantee you a room if:

you are joining us on a full-time undergraduate programme in September 2025
you apply for your room before 17:00 on 20 August 2025
you accept your offer of a room within two working days.

Once you have officially confirmed your place at Reading, our accommodation provider will contact you with instructions on how to apply for accommodation.

Housing advice and support

If you hold an insurance offer and apply for a room after 20 August 2025, we may advise you to explore alternative accommodation arrangements. We’ll provide further information and guidance if this situation arises.

Reading Students’ Union can also advise you on finding alternative accommodation.
