CQSD - Centre for Quality Support and Development

The Centre for Quality Support and Development supports:

  • the development of teaching and learning across the institution, including technology enhanced learning
  • the quality assurance of, and development of policy for, teaching and learning
  • the professional development of all staff involved in teaching and learning

Working in partnership with academic and professional services staff and students we aim to:

  • support colleagues to develop their teaching, learning, assessment and feedback practice in a safe and encouraging environment
  • inspire creative approaches to teaching and learning
  • support colleagues to achieve professional recognition for their teaching and learning achievements
  • ensure quality assurance processes are efficient and effective and policy reflects best practice
  • maintain a close link between quality assurance and quality enhancement
