University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Campus love: Bruce and Jean met in 1950 at the University of Reading rag week, in the back of a lorry. 74 years later, they are still together. BBC Radio Berkshire (from 1:09.40) spoke to them.

Food and farming: 

  • Researchers from the University of Reading found that a supplement of vitamin B6 brought benefits for people with anxiety, The Times (in print) reports. 
  • Professor Gunter Kuhnle (Food and Nutritional Sciences) is quoted in a Daily Mail article on ways to avoid a hangover.   • The Daily Mail mentions that Houses of Parliament pest controllers used University of Reading expertise to DNA test mutant mice found there. Republished by BNN.
