University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Long-range weather forecasting: Following a visit to campus last week, Guardian journalist Robin McKie has produced a story for The Observer on Reading’s involvement in a 15-year research programme, in collaboration with the Met Office and ECMWF, to enhance the accuracy of weather predictions, up to a month in advance. Professor Rowan Sutton, Professor Sarah Dance, Professor Chris Merchant and Professor Pier Luigi Vidale (all Meteorology) are quoted within the piece, which is republished by TechnoSpace2, Yahoo! News, MSN and Aol.

BBC News, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Solent, BBC Radio Oxford and BBC Radio Berkshire mention the Observer story in their headlines round-up, referencing a quote by Professor Sutton. Republished by Yahoo! News.
