University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

University of Reading on The One Show: BBC 1’s The One Show visited University of Reading Professor, Professor Paul Williams (Meteorology), who discusses the increase of clear air turbulence as a result of climate change. 

Health and wellbeing:

  • A study by the University of Reading found that a poor quality diet may be associated with changes in the brain structure that are linked to depression and anxiety, Gulf Insider and Sign of the Times report. Read our news story.
  • Medical Buyer mentions that Professor Darius Widera (Pharmacy) will be a speaker at the upcoming London Biotechnology Show.

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Professor Richard Allan (Meteorology) stated that El Niño’s warming impact will persist into 2024, despite having already peaked, for Newsweek. Republished by The Modesto Bee, Miami Herald, The News Tribune, Star-Telegram, Lexington Herald Leader, Idaho Statesman and other publications, such as The News & Observer and Charlotte Observer.
