Storm Daniel and Libya flooding: Read our expert comment

  • Reuters, The Daily Mail, Common Dreams, RTL, Yahoo! News, France24 Devdiscourse, WTAQ, Asharq Al-Awsat, Ekathimerini.com and many other news outlets quote Professor Suzanne Gray (Meteorology) on Storm Daniel, which has hit Libya.  
  • Professor Liz Stephens (Meteorology) is quoted in Space.com on how medicanes such as Storm Daniel are relatively rare. Also republished by Yahoo! News.

Covid vaccine rollout:

#UniForReading: Our role as a civic University

  • BBC 2 and BBC 2 Wales feature the University of Reading in an episode of Great British Railway Journeys. Presenter Michael Portillo spoke to Nigel Todd about the University’s origins and its educational outreach to the town’s workers after it was founded.
