Global warming limit: CNN reports that the world is on track to breach the 1.5-degree limit of global warming. Professor Richard Allan (Meteorology) is quoted on the urgent need to tackle greenhouse gas emissions. Professor Ed Hawkins (Meteorology) is quoted in Yorkshire Bylines, stating that solutions to reduce global emissions exist but are not being deployed.
