University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Fava beans revolutionise diet: The Guardian (and in print), Reading.co.uk, News Break, News Groove, Food and Drink Technology, and Germanic report on a publicly funded University research project led by Professor Julie Lovegrove (Food and Nutritional Sciences) titled 'Raising The Pulse', which encourages British consumers to switch to bread containing fava beans for their positive effect on diet and the environment. Norovirus surge: Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) is quoted by Daily Mail, Mogaz New, Public News Time, Express Digest, News Break, What's New 2 Day, and Express Informer on how to reduce your risk of catching norovirus, as the UK experiences a sudden increase in winter cases.

  • Professor Ted Shepherd (Meteorology) is quoted by Wired, My Droll, and Quebec News Tribune on the lack of snow at ski resorts as an effect of global warming. 
  • Professor Richard Allan (Meteorology) is quoted by Market Drayton Advertiser (in print) and Mid Wales Journal (in print) on how climate change led to the highest annual temperatures recorded in the UK last year.
